Because of eye problems, I need a speedometer with white background. So far, I am only aware of Chrysler's having a white background. Help, any other cars available with a white background??

Question type: General

It is important that with AMD in both eyes and glaucoma in left eye, that I
wear sunglasses as much as possible.  If I wear the sunglasses, I am not
able to read the speed well on a black backed speedometer, it all blends
together.  It is particularly difficult for me on a bright day.  In order to avoid
speeding, I go without the shades and am concerned how much damage I
am doing to my already damaged eyes.

I don't think you should be driving at all. Look into aftermarket instruments, perhaps digital.

Thanks for your concern. 21st century medicine provides for injections into the eye at varying intervals to hold A MD at bay & glaucoma, when detected early, can also be held in check with a combo of eye drops, so I am perfectly able to drive. Not using sunglasses can aggravate the situation, thus my concern. Appreciate your expertise and concerns, thank you.
