I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 Range Rover for
$14k that seems to need a tune up..just wondering
what the maintenance usually runs about on this
vehicle..

Have the owner do the tuneup and then see how it runs. Other more serious problems might seem like a bad spark plug but could be far, far more costly.
