Not helpful, this is very annoying and I think a lot of dealers do this on purpose to inflate the value of their vehicle.

I had the same problem, photo shows liberty 3.7L gasoline and a lot of them are advertising them as the diesel version because they are more valuable, typical bait and switch. Same with Trim levels. There is no easy way to report these issues, which are obvious and can probably be verified through the VIN.

Quite a number of fraudulent listings (already sold vehicle switch and bait schemes, multiple vehicle listings using the exact same pictures, etc.) and no system has been enabled to report them. Obviously not an accident and just pandering to dealers, but won't end up well for CarGurus the more these kinds of problems are exposed turning off users. Ironically you can report any comment in this forum with a click of a button, but can't report a single listing.

I have found inaccurate listings. Autotrader has more accurate information on the same cars.

Autotrader also lets you report inaccurate info.

You could spend a lifetime reporting all these "errors". Why waste your time? Dealers will always be sleazy.

We just had an issue with Princeton Imports in Ewing NJ ... listed a car that had damage to it as if it was in near perfect condition right off a lease (and priced it as such) .... went on the listing page to see if we could report the listing because the owner failed to accurately describe the condition of the car. I guess we won’t use car gurus anymore since... or deal with used car dealerships... hey... what’s that thing they say about used car salesmen .... oh yeah....

Yeah, this one dealer in Elizabeth marks up cars 20% if you buy without cash. Plus, they don't say anywhere on their websites or listings that all the cars they sell are actually salvage titles and nearly falling apart. Dips Luxury Motors, if you're interested.

Will you guys (the Car "Gurus") ever pull your heads out of your collective a**** and implement a report listing function? You are exercising negligent business practices by allowing false, inaccurate and even entirely fake listings knowingly. I smell a class action.

My vehicle has never been in any accident or ever used by a rental agency, and carfax says it has never been in an accident or was ever a rental, for some reason some jerk at car gurus thinks its funny to lie to the public. https://cargur.us/100BQ9
