That all depends on what is in the worst shape. If the tires are showing cord then get new tires today. If the tires are serviceable but the shocks are worn out and your car is bouncing all over the road then replace the shocks.

If I had to choose I would say tires because of the safety factor !

Depending how bad tires are worn. If it's a safety issue, replace tires but if u have bad shocks and tires can wait, do the shocks otherwise bad shocks will ruin ur new tires if u wait too long
