Will a engine from a 1994 grand marquis fit
a 2002 grand marquis

Yep its the same engine module 8, 4.6 liter...

The set-ups of the engines are different. It is important to get the same set-up back in your vehicle, like you may have to change intake manifolds. The 2002 have coil on plug set up, and just a coil with spark plugs. There are differences to look at to see if you can over come them.

I usually tell people no on a question like this because the '94 engine is controlled by a OBD1 computer, 1996 on up have a OBDII computer to run the engine. The '94 sure would go in there but the problem is to get it to run. If you can switch parts over from the original engine over to the '94 engine, then you would be fine.

Yes, 1998 year would be ok. Looking up different parts for the '98 compared to the '02, the parts are pretty much the same.
