12 Volt charging

I have a 2013 F-150. Are both of my 12 volt charging
options always hot? Will leaving a USB adapter plugged
into the 12 volt outlet with an iPhone cable plugged into
and no device charging drain my batttery?

Charging a cell phone should not drain the battery. Just leaving the cable hooked up would not drain the battery.
