I've got 2014 ram truck with the 5.7 hemi, it started overheating I changed the thermostat that didn't fix it , could it be the water pump?

First thing to check is the radiator cap ... water can't boil under pressure at 212 f ... if the cap or flange is not aligned it can't hold pressure (at least 7 lbs).. it will overheat quick
