Putting a 95 350 into a 90 Suburban
Is it any changes that i would have to do buy
putting a motor out of a 95 suburban into a 90
Shouldn't be, but compare the two before the swap might be some differences in accessory mounting but you should be able to transfer from one engine to the other, If I was doing this I would replace the rear main seal. front crank seal, valve cover gaskets, water pump as well as all the rubber hoses, thermostat and tune up parts, so those could be considered additional costs.
So I wouldn't have to change none of the sensors over
Most of will swap when you transfer manifolds, you can't use EFI manifold on a TBI engine. The 95 EFI and the 90 is TBI
So thats the reason why its keep cutting off
Could very well be.
This is what it is i habe that plugged up idle good then cut off i unhook it it run bad idle no power and timing jumping misfire but plug it back up ilde good and then cuts off
That sounds like the ECM is getting multiple signals and can't decipher them, you may have to take it to a shop that can do a signal scan to find out if it is a sensor, wiring, grounds or a power feedback. Have you double checked the system grounds especially the sensors?
