2001 malibu

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Malibu . Was having trouble with
battery. Jumped it off and it cranked. Next
morning it was dead. Theft light on and
wouldn't even turn over. Got new battery
all lights and dings come on also theft light
is on not blinking but car does nothing
won't even turn over. I've dealt with the
theft light before. But this time is different.
Help

Yea, but it sounds like the theft system is activated. Try doing the reset procedure, that I don't know how to do.
