Advice on which car to buy

Asked by Abhinaba Mar 24, 2017 at 08:53 PM

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi, my father is looking to buy a new car. The only criteria he has is that it
should have a smooth ride and should be the least bumpy. It will be
chauffeur driven car for the most part.

He frequently travels to remote parts in maharashtra where the roads are
not very good (ground clearence may not necessarily be an issue.
However, the roads are severely potholed to the extent that some parts
dont feel like the road at all.

My current choice is the land rover discovery sport, however people have
told me that luxury sedans like the E-class might be more comfortable (Is
this true even for bad roads?)

Kindly advice. i am open to any suggestion or make of the car.

Obviously test drives are in order. The S class Mercedes or the GL350 might meet your dads criteria.

Remote parts means like the outback? You can get wrong on Lincoln Navigator. Riding was smooth, roomy and it's ideal for your old man.
