Car problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited and my
windshield wipers won't work nor would my high
beams cut on. I checked the fuses and they all
seem to be fine what else could the problem be?

I believe it could be the Headlight Dimmer Switch which operates the wipers, and the turn signals. Check it out on this sight... https://www.carid.com/standard/headlight-dimmer-switch-mpn-cbs-1219.html?singleid=207441554&url=493639

I agree, change out the entire switch. I'd imagine you can get an aftermarket replacement relatively cheap. Directional contacts may still be okay, but other components in the switch could be worn out.
