How do I tell if the brakes master cylinder is going bad, or what else would cause brake pedal to slowly sink at red lights etc, & occasionally go straight to floor having to pump them when stopping? 19 Answers

I have replaced the brake booster, master cylinder, and most of the brake lines. I have bled the master cylinder and all four wheels numberous time. I get good brake pedal when the engine is off but when I start the engine the brakes get extrememly soft. The brakes work but not until the pedal gets all the way to the floor. The back brake cylinders have been replace and the front calipers and pads. The back pads are over half way and still good. 2 Answers

I HAD MY 2003 HYUNDAI SONATA BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS CHANGED, NOW AT ANY GIVEN TIME WHEN I GO TO APPLY BRAKES, THE CAR SHIFTS TO THE LEFT AND IT FEELS LIKE THE BREAKS ARE NOT GOING TO HOLD.
