Question type: Car Customization

Wanting to update a 63 fairlane it has a
straight 6 2 speed would like put 302 in it
wonder what all I can put in from a newer
yr car such as mustang or what not lol
really for front end parts n disc breaks
guess asking is there a doner car I could
find to some of the updates I'm looking for

On a car of that age , you can put almost anything in it, but its going to cost you and cost allot, a modern engine and all the Electronics, also a new tranny, updated front end. It nice ro have all that but if it were me, i would keep it simple, so you can work on it, if needed. Go with a 302, with carburetor, new tranny and updated front end....

if you have to go fast, buy a WRX- the beauty of your car is its ancient simplicity- a straight six! with a carb! and points! man, they will never make 'em like that again-
