2016 town and country versus 2013 sienna or odyssey

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Help! My car was hit from the side in an accident and is now considered a
total loss. I have a few days and $ 10,000 (for my 2009 Sienna) to use to get
a new minivan. We would like to buy a used car outright, putting savings
together with the settlement. We live in Minnesota, by the way, and a storm
is coming this weekend. Anyway, for around $ 20,000-23,000 (we would
prefer to stay closer to $ 20,000), we have the option of 2016 Town &
Countrys (with more bells and whistles) or 2012-2014 Siennas and Hondas.
What is your opinion on how they compare and whether to take a newer
Town & Country, stick with a 2013 or 2014 Sienna (we have always been
pleased with Toyotas), or go with a 2012-2014 Honda (which we have
testdriven and also like).

You need to consider the warranty on the 2016 and if there is a Really GOOD extended warranty on the 2013 /2014. The Town and Country - Sienna - Odyssey are equals. The warranty is your key to making the best decision.
