What year Town car?

You have one three-way converter on each side, so a total of two converters. Look over your invoice and see just what they replaced.

Ken, we don't even know what year this Towncar is. If it is recent it has 2 actual converters on each side that are part of 2 assemblies.

I see it listed only as a 1-piece assembly, it might break down into front and rear... on older Town Cars it's a single 3-way converter per side. The diagram below is for up to 2010 I don't have anything newer than that, can't imagine OPs car is this new with converter problems, I'll try and post a 90's era diagram. Still for OP they need to review their invoice and see just what was replaced.

Look under the car and see how many converters are on it now!

There are likely 4 individual cats that could be replaced 1 at a time by using universal parts and welding them in. Of course a proper repair would be buying the proper assembly and installing it by bolting it in.

I have a 1998 Town car how many cat's are on their.
