Beetle needs holes on trubo and is
running hot

No, turbos run hot due to the exhaust gases moving through the impeller system and the compressor side also warms the air and that is why it is ran through an inter cooler. Some turbos are oil cooled, some turbos are coolant cooled, some of the higher quality turbos use both. HTH
