Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a 2001 Dodge Neon,I was
driving it and threw it in the
wrong gear it then ran hot and
shut down. It cranks but will
not turn over. Im getting gas
replaced the crank and cam
shaft sensor.replaced the
battery coil ,wires,and still
won't turn over I'm thinking
that I damaged something in
the clutch because when I tried
to pop the clutch ,nothing ?can
the sensor at the clutch,or the
Air Control sensor prevent turn
over ? How do I check for
spark since I don't have a
helper? Manual trans,2.0

The clutch safety switch can. Since you messed with the Camshaft Sensor, this is what the po508 code is about. P0508 DODGE - Idle Air Control Valve Sense Circuit Low.... Possible causes; Faulty Idle Air Control (IAC) motor. Idle Air Control (IAC) motor harness is open or shorted, Idle Air Control (IAC) motor circuit poor electrical connection.
