2005 ford escape xlt o/d blinking and transmission hard shifting

I was driving home seen the I/d button stratt
blinking then as I went to stop I felt the trans like
jerk hard shifting to lower gears. Now it is doing it
shifting up and o/d feels like it's still shifting to the
4th gear

Shift solenoids are a common issue, these need to be check by a good reliable transmission shop...

I have a 2002 Ford Escape and when I start my car it jerks and when I put it in drive it jerks , what can I do to stop the jerking ?
