do all dodge rams have the mds system? i have
bought a 2011 1500 5.7, and the eco light comes
on as it always does, but i dont notice any change,
no vibration, nothing. if the eco light comes on,
does that mean it has a working mds system?

Started 2006 on Doge pickups. My 2014 has MDS and it is so smooth you hardly know it is operating. If the tow haul mode is engaged it will not operate. More info at the link...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-Displacement_System.
