In case you didn't know, Subaru Outbacks are one of the BEST cars in snow and are VERY COMPETENT off road. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Consider leasing a Lexus RX350 if you don't drive over about 15,000 miles a year. Lexus, Mazda or Toyota would be my pick for an SUV type vehicle.

WOW, did the original poster say that the DID NOT want a Lexus. And they not interested in LEASING , they want to PURCHASE a car. Generally, leasing is the MOST EXPENSIVE way to go. It's a long term rental and the first three years of lease payments just pays for the depreciation of the vehicle. UNLESS you are in business for yourself and can write off all of these vehicle expenses, leasing is definitely NOT a good financial move. There's only ONE EXCEPTION to this. If you are living in a state where there's a lot of snow and road salt and you cannot keep your vehicle garaged and expect that the body will get deteriorated quickly, than maybe a long term rental and turning it in would be an advantage. It would probably be difficult to sell a 7 to 10 years old car with a lot of rust.

I want to have strong body car, Do you guys think is Toyota car is a Strong Body cars. I'm thinking for FORD, HONDA, GMC or TOYOTA. Today I went to FORD and test drive the FORD EDGE V6, but didn't got that feel. Then she said they have FORD EDGE V4 ECO BOOST that will give that feel of drive. Then I went to TOYOTA showroom and checked the HIGHLANDER and 4RUNNER. I liked 4RUNNER that is very cool but didn't do the Test drive, will do it on friday.

The 4RUNNER is one of the most reliable vehicles on the road today. Get the vehicle you like and that fits you best. Also sometimes having a dealership of the vehicle you choose nearby is a consideration.
