Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am on a limited budget.  Trying to decide between buying a 2006 Pruis with
187000 miles for 4300.00 and a Mitsubishi Outlander with 161000 miles for
3700.00

I am the one who asked the question. I like roominess of a large car. I have not test drove Prius. I am wondering if I would feel cramped up/claustrophobic. However, the Prius -- fantastic gas mileage -- Does not look as old as Outlander to me. What is your opinion. What about reliability at this point?

Wait until that old Prius needs new batteries. You will rue the day.

Thanks, tennisshoes. What about a 2004 escape xlt with 70,000 miles for 5500.00?

The Escape is more like it. Double check the price with online car value sites like Edmund's and Car Gurus. What ever you buy have it checked out by a mechanic.
