lol- why DON'T they build cars with interchangeable parts? Wouldn't that be lovely?! Only one car comes to mind, that had the same parts across all model lines for 20 years (!) not ALL the same, of course but many, such as the same brake rotor, forever, only ONE rotor which still costs $15.00 (as a result)- 1968 thru 1988 Fiat 124,128,131- coupes, convertibles, sedans, station wagons, wow, what a concept
