Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Trying to sell a 1940 Dodge on this site but
seems that I don't fit your "normal"
parameters. Can you suggest any way of
posting my classic car?

1940 Dodge Brothers D-17 Sedan
Original flat-head six has been converted
to 12 volt.  Very close to original
everything. Newer upholstery on seats but
original fabric on doors/sides/roof liner.
Very solid car.  No missing teeth in grille,
badges are complete, all chrome is
present.  Easy restoration for the right
garage. Suicide doors. Brodie knob on
steering wheel. 1 of original 26,803 built for
1940.  Original owners manual.
76 years old and it's all still there.

I would sell it on Hemming's Motor News or maybe Craig's List if you want to put up with the flakes and scammers.

You are not going to be able to sell it on this site, try craigslist in your area...

Hagerty, Hemmings, or Craigslist - also market the car locally at your local car meets, some meets are sponsored by an organization that might have a magazine, for instance in my area we have "Cruisin' Times", which is loaded with ads for local classics for sale, along with local rod shops advertising their services. It's a much more concentrated market for a classic car that some Web site.
