Won't crank

I have a 87 Ford f150 4.9 manual transmission I
replaced the starter and the starter solenoid and
the truck will not crank. I can get the truck to turn
over by putting a screwdriver on the solenoid it will
turn over but will not crank please help

When you have it turning over spray starter fluid in intake to see if it tries to start.

If spraying starter fluid in intake does not get it to fire. Pull a spark plug and ground to block and observe while turning over if you see the plug firing.
