2000 dodge ram 1500

My 2000 dodge ram 1500 is making a
hamming noise apparently in the rear
end but only when speed is 50mph an up
but also it does it only when press on the
gas if i let go the gas hamming stops
then i press the gas to keep going at
speed hamming start again thanks in
advance your help is really appreciate

rear drive? check prop shaft for malfunctioning bearings. best to check in neutral with e brake off. also seek professional assistance from a qualified automobile technician when working underneath an automobile.

Check the lube in the differential. Check the u-joints at the drive shaft. How many miles on the truck?

Hey Bob thanks for you help strait to the point berry helpful my truck has 16062mi I'll get to the truck as soon as posible i really wana trie your idea and i will keep you guys posted
