Buying a car in tourist status

Hi. I need to know that I am here in houston
for 3-4months as a tourist. So can i buy here
my own car in tourist visa? If yes then let me
know any good car. My range is maximum
$1000..

Of course you can buy a car- we love selling things in America- just pay the taxes and get it registered and inspected- you will need a driver's license and insurance on it to register it- if you only have $1000 to spend this will be extremely difficult- look for a '92 or newer Toyota Corolla-
