why can't I search over 100 miles

I have set up some searches to be saved and went into the advanced settings and nothing I do or can see on any page ever, lets me do a search farther than 100 miles, which is not helpful at all.

You will get multiple answers, as I've seen in multiple other posts.... none will be correct. The funniest is when someone will say "you must be a registered user", as you have registered an account just to post your question, that's a laughable answer. Seems no one knows and no one within CarGuru's cares to do a damn thing about it.
