Won't turn over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a Chevy suburban 2500 and when I
turn the key the lights come on but my
engine is silent. The starter won't even turn
over. Just silence. Ideas?

Try another battery some times the cell go bad where they will NOT take a jump or a chagert

Try jumping it, if it starts its probably battery, if not sounds like maybe solenoid on starter. I lean more toward starter problem
