250

Any power stroke after the 7.3 is a ticking time bomb. 6.0 is a hand grenade and requires a $10,000 bullet proofing. 6.4 has lifter problems which require complete cab and front end removal. Roughly $12,000 job if you can find a Ford dealer to do it. 6.7 are now having valve issues. Requires cab removal also. Duramax or Cummins are really the only two in the game now as far as reliability. And unless your pulling it constantly, I would recommend a gas motor. EPA restrictions have turned new diesels into costly devices. DEF, catyltic converters run into 4 digit price tags, $1000+ for one injector. I have several friends that pull 14,000+ with hemis in 3500s with no problem.
