I have had a few calls, but from the emails I've had not one has aknowledged my return responce. Wondering if they are getting my reply. Maybe just tire kickers like Tom said?

Maybe I will test this by answering my own add from my other email address and & see if I get my own reply.

if you are not paying for car gurus services some of that will have to with them , they make sure potential buyers have to go thru them..i was surprised to see what a buyer sees when they actually view your ad..some contact info you are providing may not be visible...place a picture with your contact info on it ..in place of one of your vehicle pgotos..

There is an old saying when in Rome do as the Romans do ... I went to your page/sight and noticed you have no description of your self in addition i don't know how many cars you have listed ...but there is a limit on how many cars They will allow you to post without Paying....I have no idea Why they removed the Picture that had your contact information on it. It has worked for me.

I can almost guarantee that Cargurus sends fake email leads to keep dealers interested by thinking this site gets more shoppers than it actually has. Also, these fake lead emails never replying makes dealers think they must pay for the upgraded account.

BS!! There are far too many flakes out there to waste dealers time for some kind of BS spam program to be needed.

Cargurus totally sends fake leads to dealers. Makes our store look bad when we call and email these folks.

Totally agree about the fake leads, I get way too many no response leads and have had people tell me that they were hacked and never inquired about a vehicle at all.

Its all fake generated leads that you receive at approx the same time in the middle of the night with no phone numbers. You will never get a response to these bogus computer generated email address. A complete rip off!!! And when you call to complain that you aren't getting enough quality leads the amount of bogus leads increases

In all this time maybe two have replied to my emails, O but now renewal is up my rep claims we have a lot of sales leads! and guess what my price is going up from $399 for like 25-29 cars a month and now they want $660 per month and they can reduce it to $599 per month, this is Bullsht!! It is like paying rent I am a small dealership that has 30 cars on the lot what is wrong with this ppl?!

I can guarantee cargurs is sending out a lot of fake leads. Conveniently they are all in middle of the night or after hours or before hours. No phone numbers, never respond. Is it possible that 9/10 customers are flakes? I highly doubt it. We get random leads from out of states that do have phone numbers but are google voice numbers or numbers that say mailbox is full. I need to rethink cargurs. They are charging me $1280 for 20 car package which shows our cars in "sponsored listings"

I agree. I get them phony leads every day especially now when fall came around

Same here, I get many leads and no response back...With AutoTrader or Cars.com I would get less leads but a higher percentage of actual interested customers. That being said when you do a google search for a car Car gurus does come up first. Who knows what they are doing at CarGurus, I may just try cars.com again just to get some rest from the leads to nothing. :)

I’ve had 3 notices stating person has interest in my car. When I Google the name provided, I only find obituaries… 3 times in 4 days - Cargurus playing games I expect. Will submit complaint to BBB
