IF the Seller is a Private Party Seller and the car is sold, they may not extend the courtesy of letting you know the car is already sold. IF it's a Dealer, they are normally chomping at the bit to e-mail & call you...In either case, send a follow-up e-mail or phone# (if it's a Dealer). But, if it's only been a couple of days, be patient.
This is not true...I have responded as a private party to requests and found the replies are not getting through to the interested party! I have no solution other than to go to another site to try and sell your car if you are a private party. Seems Dealers get attention, but not private sellers.

I have attempted to sell several cars on this site. I get lots of inquiries on the vehicles. I always respond quickly. I have never (0 for 20 or so) received anything back from the inquirer. Seems strange.
i have just started looking on this sight , have requestd information on 3 vehicles in 2 weeks and have heard nothing - i will find another sight that is responsive if i do not hear back
Follow up from my earlier post regarding the inquiries that I responded to. A little context: I placed my car on this site, received inquiries, responded immediately to the inquiry then never heard from them about my response. I placed the same type of ad with only 3 pictures and sold the car inside a week because we had a running dialog Cargurus get a clue! Your private sellers need to know they cant sell their car on this site.
seems like a fake inquiries. I have dozens of inquiries and I reply to each one instantly but no follow up.
I have the same issue. I have attempted to sell my car on this site. I got many inquiries on and I always respond quickly. I have never received anything back from the inquirer. Seems strange!! As a private seller, are you not able to sell on this site? Should i add a phone number to the photo?
I'm a dealer in NC, I get inquiries daily , I respond sometimes within minutes and also call the phone number left by the customer and never get an answer. No response and no contact equals no sale... I don't know what to do !
