In regards to what ? Water and chickens in Ethiopia ?, Solar water heaters in Siberia ?, Ice machines in Belize ? Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Motorcycles ? Nothing is a "hot" seller because the market buyers will determine what sells quickly and how quickly sells by price and interest. Convertible don't sell in winter but that's the best time to buy one = 4x4s don't sell well in summer but that's the best time to buy one. It all depends on the a-s buying the seat as to how fast it will sell.

Unclear on this site, some are hot sellers that haven't sold in 50+ days. Some are marked hot sellers on the first day of listing. Appears to have no meaning.

Dealers along with Car Tech Sellers (Cargurs, Autotrader, Cars.com etc..) all have analytic data to track how long it takes for a car to sell. IE: dealer post a car on Autotrader etc... on Jan 1, the dealer website automatically uploads all the cars for sale once the dealer post the vehicle in its Dealer Mang Software which is attached to the dealers website...This software pushes data into the Cargurs websites etc......In this same system many dealer facilitate the sale of the vehicle which then automatically pushes a sale notification into the system..The system creates the paperwork for the buyer to sign etc..thus making it convenient for the dealer to manage each sale etc....Once the sale is completed in the software for this example on Jan 15, the 15 days is automatically recorded as the number of days for this car to sell...Hence the "Hot Seller" indicator...The data is very reliable for for dealers when making all decisions on which vehicle to buy and hence sell..Lastly, a 2010 Bentley that may sell for 50k ish ls not likley to sell as fast a 2010 Toyota Camry for $10k or so...The data is very reliable..
