How do I get a dealer's license?

Hi.  Love this web site!   I especially like the rating system.  So here's my question.  I am wondering what it
would take for me to get my dealer license so that I can go to auctions and by cars?  I live in Michigan.

I don't know about Michigan, but why do you need a license to just BUY a car? In Calif if you buy at auction with intent for retail, then you need a license but not to just buy one for yourself. Anyway, if you have a Dept of Consumer affairs, Google their website
