Which one will you buy if you have to choose, Ford Focus ST 2010 vs VW GTI 2010?

I'm thinking in change my car, so i had two choices a Ford Focus ST or a VW GTI either between 2009 or 2010, so if you could give advise about this choice, thanks!!

Ford for one reason, it's domestic, cheaper parts, more garages will have or be getting a update on their data to be able to service it, and also therefore cheaper insurance.

Totally agree with first post. Cheaper parts, cheaper labor and I have a focus and it just keeps working. I haven't changed a battery in ten years. Unless you are getting a diesel the VW just doesn't have the value
