what qualification are necessary to be a car designer

well i dont know exactly but i wanted to be one for years when i was in school. But you have to have A LOT of schooling in cad programs drawing drafting be great at math physics probably. Then you have to have experience probably years in smaller businesses that deal with designing before you can get a job at say mercedes or any car company
