Wait wait, what kind of question is that? cc = cubic centimetres = volume of total piston displacement.

.... , i know that cc means cubic centimetres do i look like a 5 years old pupil ??? what i ment by my question is when does it take this huge amount of fuel . every kilometer , every second , ....... plz reply ( if u know ) im not asking about the volume !

its just a calculation of the bore, stroke and cylinders (displacment = pye/ 4x stroke x number of cylinders) Because BORE is the Diameter of the Circular holes cut into the block, use the formula {Pi} x {r^2} to determine surface area of the cylinder (figuratively speaking) then take that number (Pr^2) multiply it by the length of the stroke. now you have the formula for each individual cylinder in your engine. (i.e. {[pi] [r^2]} {stroke} = single cylinder displacement) Now multiply your single cylinder displacement by the number of cylinders you have. bit technical but its your answer

The engine takes in a fuel-air mixture. This mixture is only a very small part fuel. The engine will fill and burn this amount of fuel air mixture for every revolution of the motor, or RPM, but the fuel economy of the engine will depend on how the car is driven and how rich a fuel-air mixture the car's computer or carburetor is feeding into the cylinder. So in truth, 3000cc or 3L gives no direct way to find the fuel economy of the car.

3000ccm or 3.0L is displacement of the engine.. it doesn't have anything to do with the fuel.. Fuel comes in later.. and it's kinda hard to link fuel consumpion to the displacement.. fuel consumption depends on compression ration, fuel type, ignition timing, air/fuel ratio, valve diameter, valve lift, valve timing, air induction system (forced or naturally aspirated), RPM and so on..

So...as I was saying, its the total volume of displacement of your pistons. LOL. Fuel economy depends on many other things.

ps : dont make a fool out of yourself by revealing your low iq

"total volume of displacement of your pistons" - well.. that's something new :DDDD

mm.. yup .... so much for an engineer lolz...:D

if you work back from the earlyer calculation i put up that is your answer! but thats what they use to work out engine displacment. its not per km or second its at anyone time. the 3000cc or whatever is the end amount

Exactly, as put by Simon. Its a very simple answer to a simple thing in question. Displacement. Nothing more. Hell, look at what you replied earlier "what i ment by my question is when does it take this huge amount of fuel . every kilometer , every second , ....... plz reply ( if u know ) im not asking about the volume ! " Do you even have any idea at all what you're talking about?

no i need an engineer like you to wake me up ...... lolz ......
