What electric car can I buy in the USA today?

Not many readily available... You can get a PHEV version of the prius though, or wait a few years, there are several companies with electric, and PHEV's, in the works...

Surely one of the best electric car on the market is the Tesla Model S. However, today we have on the market not only electric cars but also utility professional electric vehicles (such as those seen at this link http://www.alke.com/electric-van-xt.html ) that can be used with success in all areas and that they don't pollute.
