Can I interchange beds?
I have a 2001 f150 5.4 triton supercab. It has a 6 1/2 foot
styleside bed on it. My question is if I buy a 98 f150 4.6
supercab with a flareside bed will the beds interchange?
I would think so. Take a few measurements to verify.
Well I measured mine but they guy that has the flareside said his had a 6 foot bed on it and from what I'm getting offline, these models only had 5 1/2 , 6 1/2, and 8 foot beds so I cant exactly get a good measurement from the 98 model and I'm pretty sure hes measuring wrong
They are both supercabs just diffrent bed styles, different years and different engines
If the bed was off a crew cab instead of an extended cab it won't swap between the two cab styles. The 5 1/2' bed was only on the crew cab.
There were only two bed sizes on the supercabs, 8' and 6 1/2'.
So your saying the 98 flareside bed is on a crew cab and my 2001 is the supercab?
