There are lots of things that can cause this. A fuel mixture that isn't rich enough (this is usually the cause of cold stalling and intermittent stalling). Faulty fuel pump, alternator, or EGR valve. Bad battery. Dirty air filter. Low fuel pressure or clogged fuel filter. Engine coolant temperature sensor reading hot. Might be Ignition related problems such as loss of spark. go to a car parts store and have codes read, probably free. Or if you don't know cars, just take it to a mechanic for diagnosis.
