Car is overheating please help???

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car keeps getting hot. It can set
and idle for 45 mins and not get hot,
but as soon as I drive it, it gets hot.
Please help me.

If temperature is OK at idle, the fan is working. When the engine overheats while moving, it's likely you have a defective water pump, bad radiator cap, or defective engine coolant temperature sensor.
