2008 F150 wont start

Asked by Guru6NH8H Mar 25, 2020 at 03:26 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Computer assisted start intermittently fails.  When it fails I can hold the key in start and the engine turns over but will not start.  While holding the key in start, the accessory delay, fuel pump, and starter relay all chatter.  When the Computer assisted start functions, the truck cranks normally.  I have removed, disassembled, and inspected the fuse/relay box and all of the connections between it and the PCM.  Also replaced the starter.
