having the worst problem trying to find an oil
dipstick that fit my car I've already overfilled it had

Do an oil change. With the engine empty and a new filter fill the engine with the recommended amount of oil minus one quart and mark the dip stick (start it first and then let the oil run down). This will give you one quart down. Add the remaining quart and mark it again for the full level.
