Getting no fire or spark in my Jeep cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2001 jeep Cherokee for a mud toy and
drove it home 2 miles from the location I got it. It
drove fine but when I turned it off it won't start
back. I have no fire or apart but my engine is still
turning over. I look around and looks like the
harness in this one might have been swapped with
one from another jeep. I hooked my scanner to it
and got the no BUS code. And checked all
conections and everything seems to be fine. I
asked around and was told maybe the crank
sensor and I changed that but still having the same
problem. Then looking again I thought it might
have been a fuse but everything there also looks
good, took all out and checks and they all look new
I'm not sure what else it could be. Any ideas?
