1997 sebring JXI ALARM wont shut off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I get in the car and turn the key a red light
blinks and the lights go on and off. I have tried
using the passenger side door 3 times is
supposed to disengage the alarm. I was told that
the horn should also honk. Is it battery not enough
power? I have tried disconnecting the green one
orange wires on driver side. Nothing works. Please
give me a series of things to try. I am desperate.
