Is Rwd for the rain ?

Is a rear wheel car still safe for the rain ? Reason I
am asking is because I am looking into a 2011
Lexus IS 250 rwd

It is safe with the proper tires. Since this is a concern look for tires that have a good wet traction rating. You also want to replace them when the tread is thin as worn tires have poor wet traction.
