why won't the car restart after a jump?

something may have gone bad by pure coincidence , or maybe they put the + on the - who knows , things will have to be tested to see what the problem is .

It takes about 30 minutes of driving for the alternator to charge the battery. Anything short of that, the battery is still dead and will not have enough power to start the engine.
