Question type: General

I have a choice I need help with.
The first guy has a 1965 For Mustang V8. The interior is
immaculate and the outside is ready to paint. Hes asking
6000$ The other guy has a 1964.5. The interior has been
redone a few years ago but needs to be cleaned. The
outside has a really bad rust spot on the hood and the back
quarter panel is badly dented. It also needs a fuel tank and
gas lines but will crank and run. He is asking 2500$ Which
one is worth it?

Honestly, that rear quarter panel will cost a lot to repair properly. The are other factors. Make sure you check all the notorious rust locations on those mustangs. I have owned several of them over the years. Restoration costs can be very expensive, especially if you run into rusted structural panels. I would suggest you go with the 65 that needs less body work.
