Question type: General

Was at carmax sale in Fort myers Florida with a licensd
used car dealer, after the sale was over I was to drive a
2010 Honda Insight back to Tampa Florida, ath car was
involved in an accident at the Race station at 4440
Colonial dr. The car dealer was driving a blue F350 pulling
a trailer with a BMW,  that was picked up at Manhimes as a
return for bad motor,  the owner backed into the Honda
,damaging the hood , the accident wasnt reported, and the
damage was repaired , by his paint and body guy,  and its
listed as No accident, and that a lie, i know, because I was
the Driver of the Honda.

Probably not an uncommon occurrence. A buddy of mine ordered a new M3 which was damaged badly before he picked it up. The dealer tried to force him to take it as a new car (after the damage was repaired).

A lot of fender benders that vehicles are involved in are not reported to Carfax. Plus if a owners does their own maintenance, that doesn't show up either.

One of my cars was broad sided by a Camaro taking a lap around the block from the factory. It never even made it to a dealer. I wonder if it was sold or totalled?

Vehicle history reports are only as good as the information they receive. Hope that helps! Jim
