Car is trying 2 over heat the gauge will creep
up when idling but go down when driving and
when heat is off it will creep up when air is on
replaced thermostat but still doing it

Sounds like the radiator cooling fans are not coming on. Unplug the coolant temperature sensor and start the engine. The fans should come on immediately at high speed. If so, replace the coolant temperature sensor. If not, check the fan relays in the underhood fuse box. Hope that helps! Jim
