Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi everyone, I need some help.
So omw to gym, when I arrived, I noticed the revs
won't go under 1700 when I was idle and in no
gear. I shook it off and tought it was just the ecu
acting up.
When I started driving home, while it's still cold,
everything is usual (idle 1000rpm)
When it started to rise the temperature, the revs
would not longer drop below 1700 rpm
And if I let go of the gas at any point in any gear, it
hesitates to drop revs (engine brake). Its barely
engine braking. Very concerned, there is no check
engine light tho

What do you drive? Leaving out all the pertinent information will not get you an answer.

Check for vacuum leaks but I suspect you need a new idle control valve. There are not too many Daewoo's here in the states so you should probably have a Daewoo mechanic look at it.

The ICV was changed about a year ago during normal service. But yeah, I'm afraid there might be a vacuum leak. Will see a mechanic soon Thank you for your answer, appreciate it.

I changed mine and it started acting up again after a few thousand miles. This time I cleaned it and oiled it and it works pretty well. Not quite as good as new but good enough.
